Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Wardrobe by Rebecca. These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between you (the client) and Wardrobe by Rebecca regarding our wardrobe detox, resale services, and memberships. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
1. Wardrobe Detox Services
1.1 Rebecca’s Discretion for Resale Suitability
It is solely at Rebecca’s discretion to determine which items are suitable for resale based on condition, brand, and market demand. Items deemed unsuitable for resale can either be:
Collected by the client (within a set timeframe).
Donated to charity as per client preference.
1.2 Marked or Unsuitable Items
If, upon further inspection, an item is found to be marked, damaged, or unsuitable for resale, Rebecca will notify you. You will have 24 hours after notification to decide whether:
You wish to arrange collection of these items.
You prefer to have them sent to charity.
If no response is received within 24 hours, Rebecca reserves the right to arrange donation to a charity shop.
1.3 Booking Deposit & Rescheduling Policy
A non-refundable deposit of £350 (50% of the detox service fee) is required to secure your wardrobe detox session. Clients may reschedule their appointment at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled date. If rescheduling occurs within less than 48 hours, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to book a future session.
2. Re-Sale of Items
2.1 Itemized Valuation
Upon acquiring your items, Rebecca will inventory and assess their resale value. A detailed valuation will be sent to you for approval within 24 hours.
2.2 Commission Fees
A commission fee of 30% will be applied to the sale of all items. For items with a resale value over £5,000, a reduced commission of 15% will apply. A minimum sale charge of £15 per item will be deducted from the final sale amount.
2.3 Sales Approval & Pricing
Items will be listed for sale only after you approve the proposed prices. If an item remains unsold after one month, Rebecca reserves the right to discount its resale price to facilitate a sale. By confirming satisfaction with the pricing and wardrobe detox service, you authorize Rebecca to exercise discretion in re-pricing items after one month to maximize resale success.
2.4 Payment Processing
Payments for sold items will be processed on the 28th of every month. The final payment amount will be the sale price minus the agreed commission and any applicable charges.
2.5 Client Responsibilities
You are responsible for promptly approving pricing to ensure efficient resale. You must provide any necessary details required for the resale process (e.g., authentication certificates for luxury items, additional descriptions, or proof of purchase where needed).
2.6 Storage Duration & Updates
Items will be stored for the duration of the resale process. You will receive a monthly update on what has been sold. If your items remain unsold after one year, you will be contacted to decide whether you prefer:
The items to be donated to charity.
The items to be returned to you for a handling and return fee. If no response is received within 14 days, Wardrobe by Rebecca reserves the right to donate the items to charity.
Once Rebecca takes possession of the items for resale, there is a £15 per item charge to have them returned. You must collect the items within 24 hours of Rebecca notifying you that they are ready for collection.
3. Membership Terms
3.1 Membership Tiers & Benefits
Wardrobe by Rebecca offers exclusive memberships that provide priority access to wardrobe detox services, resale benefits, and styling advice. Memberships are offered at different tiers, with pricing and benefits outlined on our website.
3.2 Membership Fees
Membership fees are non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. Failure to renew a membership on time may result in loss of benefits and access to priority services.
3.3 Cancellation & Termination
Memberships can be canceled at any time, but refunds will not be issued for unused portions of a membership term. Wardrobe by Rebecca reserves the right to terminate memberships for misuse of services, failure to comply with resale terms, or fraudulent activity.
4. Returns & Refund Policy
4.1 No Returns Policy
Wardrobe by Rebecca does not accept returns on items sold through our resale service. All sales are final. Clients are encouraged to carefully review descriptions, photos, and pricing before approving items for resale or making purchases.
5. General Terms
5.1 Authenticity & Ownership
By submitting items for resale, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the items and have the right to sell them. You warrant that all items are authentic and accurately represented. Counterfeit items will not be accepted and may be reported. If an item is later discovered to be counterfeit or inauthentic, it will be returned at your expense or disposed of.
5.2 Condition of Items
Items should be in resaleable condition (clean, with minimal wear). Any significant defects (stains, damages, missing components) should be disclosed.
5.3 Returns & Unclaimed Items
Once an item is submitted for resale, it cannot be returned unless expressly agreed upon. If an item remains unsold for an extended period and is no longer viable for resale, Rebecca reserves the right to donate or dispose of the item after notifying you.
5.4 Liability
Wardrobe by Rebecca takes great care in handling and storing your items but is not responsible for loss, theft, or accidental damage. In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., fire, flood, theft), liability will be limited to any applicable insurance coverage.
5.5 Amendments to Terms
These terms and conditions may be updated at any time. Clients will be informed of significant changes before they take effect.
6. Agreement to Terms
